we are looking for a talented Marine Cargo Underwriter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage business efficiently in line with underwriting guidelines and profitability targets set by our insurance companies. You will be responsible for assessing and underwriting new business, administering individual policies, and managing the portfolio in our data system. Additionally, you will handle the day-to-day management of policies, respond to client and broker inquiries, monitor premiuam payments and profitability, and oversee policy renewals.

As part of the underwriting team, you will collaborate with internal departments such as Claims, Finance, and IT. You will also develop strong relationships and networks with brokers and other professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and profitability goals.
• Underwrite new business and administer policies in line with authority levels.
• Ensure day-to-day policy management and timely responses to client and broker inquiries.
• Monitor the financial performance of policies and renew them as needed.
• Work closely with internal departments to support policy and portfolio administration.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and other industry professionals.
